BSN invites everyone (Nepalese Citizens, Non-Resident Nepalese and Foreign Nationals) who are interested in biotechnology and its related disciples and want to join the Society to help in the overall development of this field.Membership Categories:
BSN Honorary Member:
BSN Honorary Member is a special membership category in which distinguished personalities are honored in recognition to their valuable contribution to BSN. They should have made significant contribution to biotechnology regionally, nationally or internationally. BSN Executive Board (BEB) keeps the right for selection and decision about an honorary member and their duration on the post. Honorary member do not have right for voting in BSN’s general elections and cannot take part directly in BSN’s decision but provide guidance and suggestions. They chair all the programs organized BSN and help BSN to advance.BSN Life-time Member:
This is life-long membership to BSN. BSN Life-time Members have to pay a one-time membership fee and become a BSN Member for his/her life-time. Life-time member after significant work in its programs are eligible to take part as a candidate for any post of executive board during elections held annually. Life-time member is NOT Executive member but the vice-versa is true. BSN life-time member enjoys full resources possessed by BSN.BSN Life-time Membership fee
For Nepalese Nationals: NRs. 3000 For Non-Resident Nepalese and Foreign Nationals: USD 250
BSN Annual Member:
BSN Annual Members are the general members and can participate in the all the programs organized by BSN (condition applied). This membership is valid for a period of 1 year and needs to be renewed annually. An annual member receives all the updates about BSN activities and enjoys discounts or free-ships in BSN programs. Annual members can upgrade themselves as lifetime members with a discounted fee after their significant contribution to the Society.BSN Annual Membership fee:
For Nepalese Nationals: NRs. 250
For Non-Resident Nepalese and Foreign Nationals: USD 25
Renewal fee:
For Nepalese Nationals: NRs. 50
For Non-Resident Nepalese and Foreign Nationals: USD 5
BSN Corporate Member:
BSN Corporate Membership can be obtained by a commercial /educational institution related to biotechnology and related sciences. A corporate member organization receives updates about our programs and other related programs. They can participate in all of our programs. For some members we help them foster and provide space on our website. Also, we provide space for their promotional works during our events during their valid membership period.BSN Corporate Membership fee: NRs. 10,000 for 3yrs
BSN Corporate Membership fee: NRs. 4000 for 1 year.
NB: We offer discounts in all the memberships during special occasions like our AGM, DNA Day and other major events.
